Alfredo T. De Cardenas celebrates his first year with Syniverse Technologies as the Executive Vice President of the Americas

With an excess of 20 years of industry experience in the field of global telecommunications, Alfredo T. De Cardenas now celebrates his first year with Syniverse Technologies as the executive vice president of the North America, Caribbean and Latin America regions. Fluent in English and Spanish, Mr. De Cardenas utilizes his professional versatility and expertise in IT management to review revenue and profit margin for the North American portion of the company. He is responsible for managing over 350 million dollars on an annual basis and is tasked with handling sales, marketing and customer care. Prior to joining Syniverse, Mr. De Cardenas worked with Nortel, where he held the executive position of vice president in carrier support and operations as well as network operations in Columbia and Brazil. He also served as a senior engineer for Southern Bell - an experience that jump-started his career in mobile communications.

Mr. De Cardenas holds an MBA from Nova Southeastern University, earned in 1991 and a bachelor of science in industrial engineering from Florida International University, earned in 1987. He looks forward to continuing his work with Syniverse in the coming years.
