Dedicated and hardworking, Mr. Luck has committed the last seven years to his professional career. As a records clerk, communications supervisor and municipal court clerk, he has myriad and diverse responsibilities, which include maintaining records at the police department, releasing information to the proper bureaus, agencies and individuals, supervising dispatch, monitoring the 911 operator systems, and writing policies and procedures. In addition, he resolves computer issues and performs such human resource functions as training and overseeing the development and evaluation of staff members

Mr. Luck has proved his ability to make a difference in his field. Recognized as a law enforcement communication specialist, he has also completed coursework in computer networking at Texas State Technical College. Further, he is a member of the Texas Municipal Courts Association, the Texas Court Clerks Association and Phi Theta Kappa, into which he was inducted on May 10, 2001. Mr. Luck aspires to implement new programs for 911 dispatchers in the coming years.
