Cambridge Who's Who Names Kathleen J. Welsh, PMP, CTFL, MCIS Professional of the Year in Project Management
Ms. Welsh celebrates 20 years in the project management arena

DENVER, CO, August 19, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ --Kathleen J. Welsh, PMP, Senior Project Manager and Owner/Principal for OnPoint PMC LLC, has been named a Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year in Project Management. While inclusion in the Cambridge Who's Who Registry is an honor, only a small selection of members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, years of service, and the credentials they have provided in association with their Cambridge Who's Who membership.

Ms. Welsh has spent two decades honing a skill set in the areas of information technology project, program, and process management for the telecommunications and financial services industries. She now shines as an internationally certified project management professional (PMI-PMP) with a wealth of experience in project and program leadership, project organization and life-cycle management, client needs analysis, team building, and project management mentoring. In her current role, Ms. Welsh is able to provide business clients consultative project management guidance in a number of areas. Also, as part of her professional endeavors as owner/principal of OnPoint PMC LLC, she conducts life-learning workshops and one-on-one training in the areas of personal and financial document organization with a focus towards empowering individuals in comprehending the basics of personal independence and estate planning/management.

Ms. Welsh earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a dual emphasis in Marketing and Human Resource Management from the University of Colorado (Denver) and a Masters of Science in Computer Information Systems (MCIS) from the University of Denver (University College). She also received a Masters Certificate in Project Management from Colorado State University, and she has acquired a number of accreditations, including an ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) and as a Certified Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute (PMI-PMP), an organization with which she currently maintains affiliation. Ms. Welsh looks forward to conducting more workshops in the near future.
