Duska Lewis Cultivated a Lifelong Fascination with Computers into a Full-Fledged IT Career

JACKSONVILLE, AL, August 19, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Duska Lewis, Systems Administrator II in the Data Processing Unit of Lee Brass, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in network systems and telephone systems maintenance.

A love of computers in high school prompted Duska Lewis to become involved in her profession. She has since gained 24 years of experience in the field, with all but three of these years spent as a systems administrator for Lee Brass. She utilizes her expertise in network systems and telephone systems maintenance to maintain network and telephone systems, troubleshoot, and implement solutions. Lee Brass is a manufacturing company that provides brass castings including Hays water meters and plumbing fixtures for commercial, governmental, residential and industrial usage.

Mrs. Lewis, who attributes her success to her hard work, dedication and ability to overcome challenges, holds a Certificate of Performance for Outstanding Service in Maintaining Effective Data Processing Operations. She is a volunteer at her local church and a participant in the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life. She also does missionary work and donates her time and resources to local domestic abuse organizations and kids.

Mrs. Lewis holds a degree in computer science. She is a Microsoft certified systems administrator and has completed network administration fast track training. Additionally, she holds a certificate for configuring, managing, and maintaining Windows Server 2008 servers, certification in advanced administrator MS Windows NT4.0, MS Windows NT4.0 Core Technologies and Definity ECS G3 System administration. She also possesses knowledge of MS Windows NT4.0 administration, advanced PC troubleshooting, Intuity Messaging Solutions administration, and IP Office (IP500) administration messaging solutions. In the near future, Mrs. Lewis aspires to become a Microsoft certified systems engineer.
