Linda R. Coogle Named a VIP Member of Cambridge Who's Who for Excellence in Program Development
A natural leader, Linda Coogle oversees the development of interactive educational programs for health care professionals

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA, January 18, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Linda R. Coogle, President and Chief Operating Officer of Clinical Care Options, LLC, has been named a VIP Member by Cambridge Who's Who. This special distinction honors individuals who have shown exceptional commitment to achieving personal and professional success.

Ms. Coogle first ventured into the health care field in 1996, after serving as a captain in the U.S. Air Force and subsequently gaining experience in the telecommunications industry. She began as a project manager for a small start up online medical education company, Healthcare Communications Group. In the 15 years since then, she has demonstrated strong organizational and financial skills, and has progressed up the corporate ladder. Now serving as the president and chief operating officer of Clinical Care Options, LLC, Ms. Coogle joined the company as the director of program management and finance in 2003, and was a key contributor to its successful startup. She was promoted to vice president of operations, senior vice president of operations, and then COO before assuming her dual role in 2009.

The highlight of Ms. Coogle's career was in 2006, when Clinical Care Options, LLC, was publicly recognized as a leader in medical education. Earlier in her career, Ms. Coogle was an assistant director of continuing medical education (CME) activities for WebMD, the well known Internet-based company. Throughout her years in the field of medical education, she has become extremely knowledgeable about HIV, hepatitis and oncology.

Ms. Coogle holds an MBA from Central Michigan University and a Bachelor of Science in biochemistry from the University of Notre Dame. She is a CCMEP and Certified Financial Planner, and has also attained a MSBCoaching Institute Leadership Coaching Certification. She serves as the treasurer for the National Association of Medical Education Companies and is a member of the Healthcare Businesswomen's Association and the Alliance for Continuing Medical Education.
